Banka Island is a beautiful tropical island in Southeast Asia, known for its rich tin resources. In the early 19th century, it was occupied by the Dutch East Indies, who sought to exploit these resources for profit. The Tin Reglement Law of 1819 severely restricted local trade, trapping the islanders in poverty under a Dutch monopoly. Additionally, the constant threat of piracy created a climate of fear, making it dangerous for locals to sail. As the pirates witnessed the negative impacts of the tin monopoly, their political views began to shift, leading them to question the colonial system that oppressed their livelihoods.Pulau Bangka adalah pulau tropis yang indah di Asia Tenggara, terkenal dengan sumber daya timahnya yang kaya.
